So I made one pedal box out of two pedal boxes, even the mounting part for the electric power steering. Now I have a question. Do I need to code in electric power steering to the engine ECU or I don't have to do that.. Because I checked the SSP 225 and from what I understand is, that the electric power steering operates on its own, being controlled by its own ECU. But do I have to code that in to the engine ECU? Because right now I have a different engine ECU, which didn't have electric power steering and my old engine ECU came with it. I'm just wondering..
 
It seems that the control unit is separate from the ECU:

The ECU required depends on your engine and chassis number (VIN):

That's what I thought as well. But I've done the conversion to manual (which is almost done) together with the electric power steering, which by magic looks like to be working (no warning light in the dashboard). The thing is that I was afraid it wouldn't work, because the GCU isn't present, but I did put a relay in it's place and it's working. Engine starts everytime when I start it, whilst when I had the hydraulic system, I couldn't start it, haha.
