Vredestein

Just fitted a set of Vredestein Ultra Satin tyres. Not cheap (£90 each fitted) but cheaper than Michelin or Continental. First impression is that the ride is distinctly smoother and quieter, although the previous tyres were an mixed set of low budget ones.
Will report in due course on fuel economy.
There are a few others on this tyre I think. Size is 205/40x17, speed rating is Y which is 186mph ... don't think I'll even get to half that.

Yes, good tyres, had them on my BMW’s in the past.

Fuel consumption on the Vredesteins is about 10% worse than on on the previous tyres so not sure that I'd recommend them if fuel consumption is the overriding issue. Compliant ride though. We'll see how they last.

Best tyres i ever bought are the best tyre of ( 2012) Still very highly regarded Goodyear F1 Asymmetric 2's. A superb all rounder and when bought almost 2 years ago were only £64 each for the 205/40 17 A2 sports wheel plus delivery and fitting. A bargain and why i still try to find them as i think they're better than the Asymmetric 3's.
