Hello. I recently purchased an A2 wich is from 2005, a Diesel 1,4. Everything is good but the humidity in both front lights. Anyone kan help me to solve ? Maybe taking out a lamp and let the air dry inside. I live in Belgium so my English is not perfect, sorry.

Remove headlight - two bolts (fastenings)

Remove bulb

Insert hairdryer into bulb socket and dry.

Replace. I have used one of those silica gel bags with success just inside the rear cover (the ones that are packed inside electrical/electronic items)

You can also put some extra sealer between the glass and the plastic cover. I used 'dum dum' (motor industry mastic - don't know if it is available in Belgium or what it may be called) but you can use silicon sealer.

Hope this helps.

Sorry, my Flemish/Waloon and or French/Dutch is infinitely poorer than your very acceptable English.

Welcome :)

I have this too at the moment - I was going to try putting some silica gel packets into the back of the headlight unit just as Maersk has suggested.

Dan, dry it with a hairdryer on a cold (at this time of year) dry - low relative humidity - day andd slip the pack in behind the rear plastic cover ensuring it is clear of the bulb supports (which will get hot)
