My thread title is harsh as I don't actually have anything to forgive my A2 for, but after suffering a minor front end bump in my A2 just before Christmas, it has just been in for bodywork repair this past week and a half, and all I can say is that I am glad to have my A2 back!!!
This is mainly because I was given a brand new Fiat Punto as a courtesy car, and it is quite possibly the worst car I have ever had the pleasure to drive!
To be fair, it didn't drive too bad - once up to speed, but the build quality and functionality was shocking. The ergonomics of the interior were awful - you had to lean and reach for almost every switch, and filling it with petrol was a nightmare as despite being on red, the fuel nozzle on every pump I used to fill up would cut out every 2 seconds as it thought the tank was full! And that was when I had fiddled for minutes on end in order to get the fuel cap off!!!
So, just wanted to let everyone know, that even if you do have the odd niggle with your A2, think of the other people out there that may be driving Fiat Punto's! The A2 may not be the best car in the world, but it's certainly not the worst either!!!
