Well my xp laptop runs Vag Commander, Vag Tacho, Mpps and VCDS all happily. This laptop is never on the net and used solely for the car software.
Xp statement was to show that VCDS will run on laptops from XP to Windows 10.

Do not worry about a disc. Just download VCDS Lite from Ross Tech. £8-£10 for a KKL lead that states supports VCDS lite is ideal. The second lead is a Gendan lead so very high quality, but double the price of "normal" ebay leads.

I have just ordered one of these. I have VCDS pre-loaded on a GoBook3 that I bought for my T3 syncro (it also has UK Memory Map) and its high time that I had full VAG diagnostic tools at my disposal.
