What was meant to go below the ASR switch?

The thin plastic fillet that sits below the ASR switch on the side of the gear lever, what was this for?

I want to add an additional interior switch and would like to utilise the blanking point but wondered if there was a switch to purchase that I could place in and mis use.

There is actually one more switch “ECO” on the 3L version.

It was just a thought as my Abarth has the following aux jack with a slide across (microsoft usb) & i found it very useful - i wonder what else this space could be used for?

Hi,
does someone have the part nr. for the connector for that ECO button please ?
(6 pins, same shape as for the ASR button, but slightly different to avoid confusing the 2 looms)
Thanks ;)
