Just saw this on the net and thought it would be interesting to hear the opinions of A2 fanatics

Here’s mine but it would be an ever evolving list

1. New Honda Civic Type R
2. Citroen DS 23
3. 1960 Mercedes 300SL
4. Escort RS Turbo Series 2
5. A pristine Audi A2

I'd revisit my driving history with:
1 Beacham MkII Jaguar
2 Mini Cooper S 970
3 Land Rover lightweight with Range Rover Classic underpinnings
4 Audi A2 Tdi90 (with unlimited funds to make it the best)
5 VW Touareg V10 (to pull the caravan)

1. Bugatti Chiron
2. BRABUS Mercedes E63S 800 estate
3. Porsche 911 GT2 RS
4. Audi A2 (zero miles, every option)
5. Ferrari 250 GTO

If you asked me tomorrow I’m sure it would be different save for the Mercedes and the Audi!

Here's my choice of cars
1. Mk 1 Golf gti campaign (helios blue)
2. My Audi a2(fully retrofitted with all goodies)
3. Audi Ur Quattro sport(love the sound of 5 cylinder engine).
4. Porsche 911 964 carrera 4 cabriolet(sunshine car)
5. Audi rs4 avant(everyday car)

I like this, I really had to think about it!

1. A2 1.2 3L (Pine green, light interior & OSS. I would build this spec!)
2. Mercedes E63 s Estate
3. Golf Rallye
4. Mercedes Benz 300SL Gullwing
5. Porsche 911 GT3 RS

Pictures of each :)

Not sure about all of my 5, but apart from a pristine Pine or Jaipur A2 with a Twist interior and every extra, there would have to be a Renault 16 - the family car from my childhood and the first one I ever drove, round a field at about 13 years old. Also a Vauxhall Royale coupe with the 3.0E injection engine. Test drove one for sale once but it was going to need more fettling than I was able to afford at the time. I could probably appreciate a really early 911. Still thinking about the fifth one!

1. Daimler Double Six XJ Coupe - always wanted one
2. Audi UrS6 Saloon - already have
3. Audi S2 saloon - only 306 built and yes please - would need converting to rhd
4. Audi S2 Coupe - that's the third one with the stunning 5cyl turbo
5. Audi A2 1.6 fsi pine green with Twist leather and all the options - already have - no oss no side guard but not bothered.

I'd have to extend the garage to fit the Audi 80 cabriolet in, couldn't do with out that, nor could i the others above.

1. 1960,s VW Beetle 1500 Karmann cabriolet.
2. 1960,s Austin Healey 3000
3. 1960,s VW Splitscreen campervan
4. 1987 2.8 Brooklands Ford Capri.
5. 1960,s 1275 Mini Cooper S.

Above would be my wish list to own and cherish to go alongside my A2. There is a sixth which would be a 1996 VW Corrado VR6 storm in dragon green but we are only allowed 5. :)

1. NSU Ro80
2 Hillman Imp Sport
3. Peugeot 405 mi16
4. Alfa Romeo 164
5 ... and ma wee A2 of course!

ps. I seem to have a thing for glorious failures. Hence the NSU and Imp. Arguably the Alfa and even the A2. Used to have a 405 (not mi16) and it’s handling was sublime. +1 to audifan for the NSU.

I can’t resist this game!
1. Singer 911, build to my spec, home painted 911 SC 3.0 yellow.
2. McLaren P1 (the aubergine press car).
3. Lotus Exige S2 240 (Persian blue).
4. New Defender 110 (hybrid spec, racing green on steel wheels).
5. VW XL1 Sport (Ducati engined!) concept, or If concepts aren’t allowed a BMW i3 120ah (navy blue; or a good BEV estate car if one arrives on the next few years!).

My ‘reserved Jay Leno spec’ would need the Lexus LFA, a silver arrow, Lotus type-49, a Koenigsegg Jesko low downforce, a Czinger 21C, McLaren F1 LM, BMW E46 M3 CSL with a manual conversion, a A2 TDI, a Honda Insight mk1, a Tesla or a Taycan and a Dodge Challenger restomod ?

Mine would be

1. Ford Escort mk1 Mexico Had one once and sold it, wish I hadnt.
2. Peugeot 205 gti Dimma Had a 205 gti and always wanted the dimma.
3. Austin Healey 3000
4. Porsche 911
5. Tesla model X

1 BMW i3 (when I can actually get my hands on it)
2 Volvo 780 Bertone Coupe
3 Citroen GS Birotor (an RO80 seems to be way too common :) )
4 Golf Mk 3 Anniversary (only for the seat material - why did I ever sell it!?)
5 Something basic and Japanese from the 1970's - maybe a generation 1 Honda Civic......

It would probably change tomorrow.........

Garage 1. AC Cobra 427
Garage 2. Lancia Delta Integrale Evo 3
Garage 3. Mercedes E63 AMG Estate (original 6.2l version) although wouldn't say no to an E 63 S AMG 4MATIC+
Garage 4. Ariel Atom
Garage 5. 4 post car lift and all necessary Snap-On tools and detailing equipment

Can we add a twist to the game? What would the 5 car garage look like if you were limited to say £250k? May need to add year and value but would result in the odd compromise and removing the unobtainable. Y/N?

I'd spend it on just one and leave the other 4 garages empty or full of the usual junk that seems to fill garages apart from cars :)

1. Fiat 127 GT in orange
2. Alfa Romeo Guiletta Spider 1960's
3. VW transporter 6 seater to take the bicycles and nephews on holiday when lock down is over
4. Lancia Monte Carlo
5. Fiat 850 coupe

Yes a definate Italian theme apart from 1 practical choice. They are the cars in the garages then I would have 5 A2's parked in front of the garages, various colour storms.
