Where is instrument cluster part number located?

Hi all, I’m wondering where I can find the part number of my a2 instrument? My garage sent this picture below, but this doesn’t show the 8z09209xx number I need to purchase a replacement. Where do I tell these guys to look?
Many thanks!

The part number sticker is on the top of the cluster, over one of the tabs that release the front fascia.

Cheers,

Tom

They sent this, which seems like the part number, but not in the same ‘8z09209xx’
format. Is that right?
Thanks so much!

There are multiple variations of the instrument cluster depending on the model year, the engine and the optional equipment (e.g. DIS). You need to match the entire part number including the variation letter on the end.

I see that 110080150004 is shown to be 8Z0920900N when I search for replacement parts, available in both essence and diesel versions. Is that right, or should I get these folks to find the 8z0 number on the cluster?

Here’s mine again with numbers circled, and then the one available for purchase with same numbers. Is that my part?
Thanks for the patience and help with this idiot here ; )

This is the important bit. The only way in which you can have total confidence in the compatibility of your purchase is by matching this number.

Cheers,

Tom

Tom, the garage said that the other tag with this number is erased. I know it’s ideal to have both, but do you think there’s a decent chance to match up using only the 110080150004 number I’ve got? When I search for that, I repeatedly get part 8Z0920900N as a result. Should just go for this with crossed fingers or is there another way to find that number.
Greeeeatly appreciate any advice.
Thanks so much again ; )
Tim
