Where to get paint spray cans

I am going to fit some parking sensors (cobra - original VAG aftermark) but I need to spray these little sensors,

However when i was at Halfords i noticed that they do not sell any AUDI colour spray cans

So where is the best place to get this spray

I get mine from a local vehicle paint motor factors, they can mix the paint to a specific colour and take into account age and deteriation of the original paint to give a nearly perfect match, they also can provide the paint in sparay cans an at a much reduced price over the main agents. Hope this helps.

If you buy from a stealer you get the base colour and laquer for about a tenner I think, 500ml cans which is more than you need alternatively have someone like chips away to spray for you

Halofords will actually mix the required colour for you in an aerosol. I used them to get a spray when I was fitting my sensors and the match was pretty much perfect.

Cheers,

Mike

I saw that at halfords, but on the chart it didn't had my kind of blue

they had only three colours there??

I think i will try the stealers

Yes they will, and if your like me they will mix the wrong bl**ding colour which I sprayed my wifes car wing with before putting on and it didn't match at all!! turns out there is 2 shades of that particular green.

get it from a stealer and the colour will match okay

Been to Audi Crawley and the colour code is Cobalt Blue

Unfortunatly nothing in stock, needs to be ordered from Germany, and will be with them on Tuesday:mad:

So much for me to fit the Parking sensors this weekend

While I was there had a look at the Q7 while i like the look of it, but oh no, not for me, from the moment i stepped into it was a big no no.
I always thoughed it would be a serious contender as a replacement for my Range Rover, but no, I can close that chapter

Had a look at the RS4 cabrio, and the normal RS4 and noticed that the recaro chairs of the cabrio didn't had those big cheeks, they are about a full 2 inch less protruding.

But did i love those chairs in the rs4 sedan, Iam really looking forward to installing those in the A2. I know that is means i cannot use my armrest anymore. well i just have to contact Mike for his adaptor to fit the full A4 armrest:D

My visit to Audi shouldn't have taken any longer then 5 minutes, but like a boy in a candy shop, i couldn't leave before having had a good look at all those new toys
