Which Spidan springs?

I have a 1.6FSi sport with OSS and horrible hard crashy suspension.
I am ready to press the button and order a new set of Monroe flex shocks and Spidan springs.

However after reading a number of threads on the subject I don't know which springs to go for. I don't drive fast so I am after comfort overall.

I believe the Spidan 49515 is the correct front spring made for the FSi/TDi but it has been suggested that the 49527 for the 1.4 petrol provides better comfort so which one to go for?

Whichever fronts I choose they will be matched with spidan rears and it seems 49546 are the ones to go for but again it has been mentioned that 56833 is the spring meant for cars with OSS but that these seem to raise the rear which I'd rather avoid.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

You'll be wanting 49527 at the front and 49546 at the back. :)

Cheers,

Tom
Hi there Tom,

Dusting of this old thread. I have the above mentioned springs at my disposal. I want to move over to bilstein springs and preferably the B8, but would this be the right choice? Due to my previous plans I already have the bought the B8 for the rear. Am planning to buy the B8 for the front. Is this a sensible combination with the Spidan 49527 (F) and the 49546 (R) ? I also have an Fabia Eibach set, but I think that would create problems with my tyre rim combination 205/45/17 S-line wheels.

Appreciate any input in advance
Regards Duncan
