Who has the oldest A2?

I’ve owned mine since July 2002 (bought at 3 month old), only done 48,500 miles and pretty much like new, thinking of selling soon but not sure what to ask?

Pictures and price in the for sale section. Working OSS, AC. leather, 4x windows, and lots of extras, you're on to a win.

That's a low mileage for it's age - just 3k per year. Almost like new- why change! What model is it?

Sounds like a nice car though even low mileage petrol ones seem to hang about. One on autotrader at the moment.

We bought ours in Sep 2007, then passed it to younger son when we went to New Zealand in Jan 2010, he then passed it to older son in Jan 2017, and we got it back in Apr 2017 when we came back from NZ. So over 10 years in the family.

Back to topic. Ive just put the feelers out on the facebook page to find the oldest survivor in the UK. Mine is 14/09/00 so looks like one of the earlier ones. Glad I didnt scrap it now..

23rd August 2002 for me from new, 1.4 SE Petrol 190 000 miles and still going strong ... it's having a winter break for the first time in seventeen years and coming back out to play in the spring.

There were some W registered vehicles, eg W724HWL 12 January 2000. It's the one in the Autocar road test of 16 August 2000 (in the Articles forum) and was one of the Press fleet which went up to W732HWL (reg 1 August 2000) I believe.
I have occasionally seen them come up in the classifieds, but not recently.

Looks like this vehicle has 'passed on', last MOT expired August 2014.

This older plate design I believe the last 3 letters denote region registered, so it could be a single dealer.

Mine was registered 10/10/2000, it still has its dealer plates on it, it was registered in central London
SE with Pine green with a twist interior

Edit: I’ve just checked the service book and it has a build date of July 2000
