Whole bunch of fault codes...where to start?

Probably, although I realise that the conversation is still moving forward on this.

I'd encourage you to give some thought to where you take the car to get such problems sorted (and your annual service). In general, it's best to look for an independent Audi / VW specialist who is able to carry out their own MOTs, and stick with them providing you're happy with their work and prices.

I don't know either business, but VW Technics in Willingham http://www.vwspecialistcambridge.co.uk/ and audi-specialists.co.uk in Burwell https://www.audi-specialists.co.uk/ have both been going for some while and are likely to be familiar with the A2.

I have my A2 serviced each year by a local specialist just ahead of the MOT - they give the car a full check over and I've never had any issues come the MOT.
Great. I will check out the place in Willingham!

May I steal your thread? Sorry for fault codes in Czech. It is FSI I am considering to buy for spare parts. The thing is if the 17428 - P1020 - 35-00 error is dead high pressure fuel pump or it should be something different. Car is not holding an idle - it's dying and when you press gas pedal it is running but rough. So there is issue about logging pressure at idle.

From what I know, EGR is most likely dead and it seems to have usual issue with intake flaps.

I would temporarily fit another battery that is known to be charged, run the car for 5-10 minutes if possible then do a full VCDS scan, followed by clearing the faults. The software will then rescan the car. This time the faults will be more relevant. Swap the battery back over and either decide to purchase the car or make your excuse and walk away.

Battery is new in that car. I did full VCDS scan with some other fault codes, but nothing else connected to engine or anything that would show dead battery so that's the reason I didn't post full log ;) Also issue with running it for few minutes as it instantly dies at idle - I don't see it as an option to be honest...

One thing worth noting is that fuel pressure regulator has been changed.
