Will they fit?

Could someone offer advice as to whether a set of 16" wheels with 205/55 16 tyres will fit without modification? I have already changed the wheels once in less than 3 months, but really like the look of the Mk1 TT alloys I saw on a post just recently. Many thanks.
 
In short, sorry, no. I run a set of those on 195/50 and they're fine, but I've got a second set in my garage with 205/55 on (the TT size) and from reading up on here I knew I was going to have to replace the tyres for reason of size whatever else I had to do to the rims. Search up a car called the Black Bomber on here, the owner ran exactly those wheels & tyre size and they rubbed.

@Pinkythelabrat, didn't you also find similar?

Thanks. I had a feeling that might be the case. I'll keep my 15's for now and find another rather elusive 5 spoke 16" to take it back to how it was when I got it, sort of. It had 3 5 spoke wheels and one six spoke, and I hadn't noticed, d'oh.
