It will if you have a later type wiper arm. My 2001 A2 was originally fitted with an arm with a hook type fitting. If yours is hook type the one you've found won't fit. You need one like this

28" is what the Bosch AR70N one comes to, at 70cm.

For the absolute correct answer on which wiper blade you need, post up a picture of your A2's wiper arm and we can tell you if it's the original or it's been replaced with the later type.

28 inches will be a bit short of the top of the windscreen but won't affect your view when driving.
I changed to the later arm and fitted a 30 inch Bosch Aerotwin blade simply because the original was an old fashioned metal backed one that was squeaky in operation.
 
I always look out for genuine ones now, they just seem to work the best - and come up at reasonable prices every now and then.
