Window frames.

The frames in my car looked the same. I used plastic renew (turtle wax) for all the black plastic and rubber parts including those frames and I think the result is great.

Good shout guys, I'm surethey are plastic coated or some kind of rubber coating so it makes sense that your ideas and tips should work, thanks

That looks great, may have to give that a go too 👍
 
I wondered this too. Back to Black & tyre dressing is good for a temporary improvement but doesn't last long in my experience. Saw a vid once of a guy using a heat gun to draw out the resins in the plastic to restore colour but that may not be such a good idea near glass.
