Windscreen replacement need advice!!

Hey guys,

Got out of the car today and found a 3-4 inch crack in the lower left of the windscreen (Damm!!).

Firstly how much are they and secondly Does anyone have any experience with replacing them? I'm trying to decide wether to give Autoglass a go or stick with my local Stealer!!

Any advice would be great!

Hi Duncan

A few people have had problems with the quality of Pilkington screens so it may be safer to go for a genuine Audi windscreen. More info here - http://www.a2oc.net/forum/showthread.php?t=11286&highlight=windscreen

If you go with autoglass just ask for an audi one to be fitted because I have had 2 non audi and they dont fit like spike said.
 
Thanks for the forum link i did have a quick look but didnt spot anything! I think i will ask the Stealer and Autoglass what thier prices are for the audi windscreen and see which is best!!
