Worn disc pads Light indicate on dash !

Hi All

The yellow brake disc worn symbol came on yesterday and
stays on I knew the discs and pads needed changed.I changed the discs and pads this morning.I checked the brake reservoir plugged in the cable at the disc pads everything fine, except the orange warning light stays on the dashboard !

Do you know if i have to have the ECU reset because the discs went right down to indicate the pads were worn done.Or maybe it is the wiring loom problem ! do you have to disconnect the battery to clear warning light.

Thanks in advance for any help fellow members

Chances are that it's the wiring loom that's got a break somewhere, as ordinarily, a replacement set of pads will put the light out - no need to reset anything.

Firstly check the connector is intact and then check the loom up to where it enters the engine bay.
