xenons bulb issue

Hi all!

I've had my xenon kit (car mod-shop) for around 2 months now, and jus this evening I noticed the left had bulb wasnt working.

Is this normal? I mean I've only had the kit for 2 months :confused: Should I be looking for something thats wrong with the bulb has suddenly gone out? If so what should I be looking for?

If there is a problem, what could it be? Or issit simply the bulb? Should I contact then company...as it does come with a warrenty.

Please can somebody help me...thanks
 
Depending on how you've secured the ballasts, it might be easier if you take the working bulb out and put in on the non-working side.

If the bulb still works, then it's the bulb that's gone. If it no longer works, then it's the ballast.

My money is on the ballast - they are by far the weakest link in a xenon setup.

I switched the bulbs, and yep it was the ballast. Ive sent them back and car mod shop said they had a faulty batch.

They should be sending me a set of the new style!!!

Lets hope these are better :D

I had a pair of faulty ballasts last year - they were causing RF interference on my FM radio.
