Your A2 plans for 2019

Well I'll be aiming to reach the 200k milestone whilst keeping the Uber eco wagon in fine fettle. Perhaps some new rear struts and of course continued regular servicing. The front subframe and lower wishbones have already been treated to some nice Bilt Hamber protective coating Dynax S50 and Dynax UB. Other than that the wagon continues to amaze :)
 
Ok well time for the announcement I suppose my plans for Boxy this year include..

Finish the big brake upgrade
Full respray in Dolphin Grey..

Then the small matter of an engine swap..

2.0 ltr Turbo.. this involves ALOT of work and the company doing said works have advised of a 3/4 month build time.. this will be the new 2.0 ltr turbo engine from the Audi A1/A3 with a full strip down RS4 internals being fitted a hybrid Garret Turbo custom ECU wiring inter cooler, new custom driveshafts and of course a 6 speed gearbox.... magic number is 360/380BHP... yes that’s correct 360bhp in an all aluminium car.. hence the amount of work I’ve been doing including those insane Brembos and 330mm discs..

It’s never been done but this is 5 months in the making so fingers crossed ??

Thank god it's out in the open. It's taken everything I have not to shout this ground breaking A2world announcement from the roof tops.

Now i see why you were going insane on the brakes!! Lol. I take it it's a petrol engine? I would imagine once your finished any of the Audi mags out there would love to do a spread on the car. Best of luck with it all. :)

That WILL be a challenge.

If you're interested I know Neil Birkett of Audi Driver mag quite well, so can probably get a write up in there easily :)
 
Plans for 2019 : sort a few niggles (intake manifold...) and sell it :(
I love it but never use it anymore. It's my 3rd car, so our 4th.
 
This was the 2019 plans Yvonne. Fit the BOSE (which I did), sell the car, which I did not (thankfully). Often the head struggles to digest the irrational outlay to keep a car which is essentially only used a few times a year. The heart says different and to-date has won the battle. Hopefully this will mirror the long term. :)
