BBC News item today about Honda Civic Tourer 1.6i achieving 100.31 mpg over 8,387 miles through 24 EU countries in 25 days.

According to the A2 Wiki page https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Audi_A2#1.2_TDI_.223L.22 the A3 1.2 3L can achieve 2.88 l/100 km which I make 98.74 mpg, so just a whisker off the 100.31 of the Honda. Just needs gentle driving, good weather conditions, flat terrain, good planning (e.g. avoid big towns, avoid countries with a need for headlights) etc.
Any A2 1.2L owners up to the challenge? Would be great PR for our cars. We could collectively fund the fuel cost.
