window problems

The "master reset" of disconnecting the battery terminals Both of them and touch the 2 cables together . This discharges any residual power. Leave for a few minutes then reconnect the battery. Now try the window reset as above. If this do this and still no luck try swapping the 2 fuses over, if passenger window now doesn't work you know that fuse is blown.

Are you sure you are checking the correct fuses? Pull the left to make sure window no longer working. Put that fuse in the right side if still not working put back in left if left now not working then the right has blown the fuse.

cheers audifan
For me it happened before work, and couldn't make it work, I had to leave it park close to wall where id kept an eye, and few hours later tired again, then it went up after a few try. If still nothing mentioned above works, then the switch needs replacing.

Again check ALL the fuses with a meter. It can drive you insane chasing an electrical issue to find it was a blown fuse after all.

Would have thought if the window is not going up / down on remote button hold or holding the key in the door lock more likely the door control module or window motor or hopefully one of the connections on the door controller.

i was told at the start to check fuses 27 and 27 but pulling them both out passenger window still works it clearly not them fuses under light control switch on dash

If you find that the drivers door window motor is at fault i have plenty in stock, they have a module incorporated in them that can be problem

Thanks
Pete
