All fitted ok after swapping the bracket
& short test this evening engine feels tighter on pull away.
Keith.
They do one but not recommended for 1.4 tdi !!!I helped developing some Powerflex bushes on another brand of vehicle
Do they do this mount ?
If not I'm will to help get it made
In my opinion the rubber inside the mount should be harder than it should for 1.4 tdi be because it is made for larger engines (1.8 - 1.9 tdi).
For the 1.4 tdi polo engines are these mounts:
febi | 31113 | Engine Mounting | bilstein group partsfinder | Official Catalogue for febi, SWAG & Blue Print Spare Parts
febi 31113 Engine Mounting suitable for Seat, Škoda, Volkswagen (VW) Fitting Position: rear, lowerpartsfinder.bilsteingroup.comfebi | 108779 | Engine Support | bilstein group partsfinder | Official Catalogue for febi, SWAG & Blue Print Spare Parts
febi 108779 Engine Support suitable for Seat, Škoda, Volkswagen (VW) Fitting Position: rearpartsfinder.bilsteingroup.com
I hadn't seen the 108779 part until now
So is it 31083, 31113 or 108779 for a 1.4TDI90 ?

Hi Vic,What reviews after long use and how long did it last?
I am thinking to buy Febi 31113 (17 Eur) or 108779 (30 Eur).
I just got the 31113 polo mount for the 1.4 tdi engine
This should be fine for my 1.6 Fsi right?
Thanks
I was about to buy a second hand one from the e bay. Can you or anyone confirm that it will fit on a 1.6?
Many thanks
I'd argue buying a 2nd hand dogbone is false economy. They don't cost the earth for a polo and all you need to do is move the a2 mounting bracket across. A new mount makes a noticable difference to comfort
