Congratulations Adam on getting qualified and a job. Your efforts will be missed for sure, I’m one of the lucky ones with a fixed roof from you. I hope someone comes along to take over the great work.
Hello all,
The need to update this thread has arisen.
I've recently finished my second engineering degree and secured a good full time job, therefore, I am unfortunately discontinuing this service.
That being said, I am aware that there are still bookings to fulfill, and for this reason, I am going to carry out all the jobs needed to complete the queue as it stands at the moment before moving on.
I have a large inventory of OSS parts including many roof frames, custom parts, gaskets etc. I need to get rid of all this, so if anyone is interested in carrying the service on for themselves, I would happily sell the entire inventory and teach someone how to correctly repair a roof using my custom parts. If anyone is interested, drop me a message.
Thank you for all the trust and friendliness you've all shown over the years, it's been a pleasure working on so many unique A2s.
Thanks again,
Adam
Congratulations on the new job Adam. I’m sure many people will be sad to see the service ending, but good luck for the future.

My open sky has failed, it was juddering despite lubricating etc, and now has stopped altogether i managed to get it closed using the allen key and have left it, i would be interested in parts to fix it etcHi Adam,
It was a real pleasure to meet you and your family when you repaired my roof, big congratulations to you on completing your degree.
I wish you all the best for the future.
Spence,
Pretty sure someone has bought the business from Kleynie so service may resume. With the demise of this great service is there anyone else who could fix my half opening sunroof and install a new non sagging headliner??
I do hope so. its a good little business for someone, and there’s definitely the deman.Pretty sure someone has bought the business from Kleynie so service may resume.
So far I have no update I'm afraid. When the service resumes, it will be offered in the same way I have always offered it, possibly with different pricing. This does mean that parts will not be available to purchase separately. Is there an update on this?
I would like to obtain the parts to repair mine.
