1.4 TDi very jerky drive.

My 1.4 has developed a fault that makes it very uncomfortable to drive. On a light throttle setting the car jerks when going from drive to overrun and vice versa. Making town driving very uncomfortable. On the motorway is seems fine. Today the orange emission control system light came on.
The fault code showing is
19559 motor for intake manifold flap (V157)
P3103-35-10 malfunction intermittent.
Cleared the fault but symptoms remain.

So what's involved in changing the motor and what sort of time and parts cost are we looking at.
Can anyone help?
 
Check the lower engine mounting on the back of the gearbox any play here will give a "Jerk" when going from drive to overrun
 
Mountings are all fine.
Awesome has quoted £390 plus labour for a new intake manifold motor. It only comes complete apparently. Thanks VAG.
Hope it does the trick.
