I have seen some pictures of A2s with 18's - what problems do people experience if any?

Guy on Tyresmoke has a few setts of the new RS4 alloy - 5x100, ET35, 8j x 18 with no tyres - is this rim suitable with right tyres or is it too wide to start with?

Cheers.

Well, 18 inch wheel sizes have been discussed several times before.

In general 8x18 ET35 is no problem if you don’t consider "serious" lowering. A tyre width of 205 or 215 is recommended. More details here for instance:

But road performance and of course comfort will be suffering due to the increased unsprung weight.

Thanks - if I am honest I dont think road comfort can be much worse than the sport is anyway ;)

Thanks for the link - just what I am looking for :D
