In all of the articles about the AI:ME there is a lot of banging on about it being the city car of the future - but owing to the Juke-like blobby wheel arch bulges above the car is 1.9m - or around 23cm - wider than an A2 which isn't exactly city-friendly. I wonder - bearing in mind other Audi concepts in the past - if there are some hard points that will end up in a production model (ie, roofline, rear & front general details), but things like the lower window line (eliminate the quarterlight kick-up wedges at both ends and on the windscreen) and arches (reduce them to something cleaner) that disappear. Ie - Audi RSQ to R8, Avantissimo to D3 A8 etc.
