I think i know what the cause of this is, i believe that is caused by a build up of dirt on the EGR valve. When Mike ran a diagnostic on the car it came up with the following codes: 19586 EGR system regulation range exceeded.
19559 Motor for intake manifold flap (V157) malfunction.
- however I am selling the A2 in question and now need to get the these problem fixed as there is a orange light on the dash every time you start the car - which i am sure will fill a potential buyer with fear.
Any suggestions on how to sort these problems, and if we need to get the value off for a clean how do we do it. Any help will be much appreciated as i need to get this done ASAP as there is only a month left on the insurance and I dont want to be stung for having to cancel an new insurance policy!
