News A2 Owner Club Official Carpet Matt Set!

If memory serves, the logo is around 80-90mm long.

Lookin' good Al - not sure about that hyphen between owners and club (or is it a trick of the light?).

As Mike mentioned, the logo should be around 80-90mm

That's mostly caused by the flash on our manufacturers camera. I questioned them about this and they reckon its virtually invisible in normal light.

It's basically something that they have to do to get the embroidery done in One pass rather than multiple passes (which would be incredibly expensive/time consuming).

Can't wait to see the completed set of mats! :)

Sorry to be critical but I think the embroidery could be better. The dash between owners and club is almost certainly a linking stitch, which is done by an embroiderer to save run time. You can also see one between Audi and A2. They both should have been cut, you can easily programme an embroidery machine to do this, it would have taken a max 20 seconds more.
They have done a good job on the main logo and maybe its the photo playing tricks but some of the lettering looks like it is different heights. They really should sort that out, it is just a question of getting the digitising right.

Mike: If you're going back to Awesome would you be able to collect these for me before next week-end? I'm not asking you to make a special journey, but only if you happened to be going there anyway?

thanks, however will be going for the light grey which should be close to the A2 carpet colour, possibly with a contrast edge binding, have yet to decide!
 
Got a call from AL over at awesome today to say my mats are ready to collect so will be having a drive over on saturday(as long as the snow holds off) to pick them up.:D

Cant wait.
 
First set of mats in and fitted to the car! :)

They came with the logo under the heel pad which looked OK, but wasn't ideally where we'd asked for them to be, so I've done a little messing in photoshop to show the positioning of the Logo will be on future mats!

Al having seen this photo i,ll be ordering a set of these as well as that looks even better than the ones i received.

What are your views on the quality of the mats? Are you really happy with the fit? Do they attach well to the plastic popper things? It would be great to have another honest view before purchasing. Thanks

There excellent quality they really do fit perfectly not tried the popper things as im not putting them in just yet.
But there so good i,ll be buying a set with the A2oc logo facing out wards when you open the door in my opinion there an excellent addition to any A2.
