Hello, I have recently acquired an A2 and have been very impressed so far. I had a cambelt/ tensioner/ waterpump/ v belt earlier this week which cost just under £500- far more than I would have liked but a job I appreciate is fairly vital to get done correctly! When doing these jobs the Audi garage have noted that my 'rear gearbox mount bush' has 'perished'. And they have quoted me £198 for it to be sorted- I simply didn't have the money to pay for this so I have two questions- firstly how urgent is this to have done (I wasn't told anything other than get done asap by Audi), Was Audi's quote fair or overpriced? And also can this have ill effect on any other aspect of my car I should be aware of? I will have the money after Christmas to get this job done I would imagine and wanted to know if safe to keep iot running as normal (I don't do many miles at all really).. Many thanks in advance for your help
