Air Con?

I have started to notice that when i turn my engine on from cold and the air con kicks in there is an unpleasant smell for the first say 30 seconds, anyone any ideas what this could be :rolleyes: cheers

If the air con is working o.k then it shouldnt need a regas.If it were low on gas it would not get cold.Had the same problem with my A4 which I took in to Crewe Audi under warranty and they did b****r all about it,sold it a few months later so never found out what it was.

Sounds like the system needs sanitising (mould and fungus can grow in the tubes you know) and possibly would benefit from a recharge.

Take a look at Awesome (www.awesome-gti.co.uk) who do a recharge service for about £30.
