Any ideas?

Right, I am about to have my A2 1.6 FSi checked over by Audi because for some reason the car is switching to 'get home safe mode' once the engine has fully warmed up. there are no warning lights on the dash and the fuel economy is crap, struggliing to get over 28mpg.

I've recently had the EGR valve and recirculation pipe replaced and was wondering if anyone had experienced anything similar before.

My A2 fsi won't run properly on anything other than Shell Vpower, then it is smooth and nimble. it took a couple tanks of it for the ECU to adjust though after having filled it with ordinary unleaded.

Worth a try.

Car is on it's second full tank of BP Ultimate, when I picked the car up from the Audi dealer at point of sale it had about a 3rd of a tank of regular unleaded, no idea what the previous owner was running the car on.

Didn't think it could be that sensitive!

Thanks

Fault diagnosed - No. 2 cylinder injector fault - what ever that means!

At least it's under warranty, but I seem to be spending at least a day a week at the dealers, not a good first Audi experience!
