Hi all

Has anybody got a how on fitting the top bush bearing on the suspension shockie its the drivers side front the one with the brake resovior blocking the top nuts.

any help would be much appreciated.:D

Hi Marco
I don't think there is any tricks of the trade to remove the strut top mounting bolts. Its possible to loosen the brake reservoir and move it sideways, without removing the hoses, to gain a little more space. After that its just a case of having a variety of spanners and socket set bits to undo the bolts a fraction at a time. I changed to Koni FSD's and spent over an hour just on these bolts.

Spike is correct - you should move the brake reservoir towards the middle of the car, by releasing the 10mm nut securing the mount plate. Also, unclip the air intake hose to give yourself more room.

A ratchet spanner or handle with socket with tiny (5 degree) increments is also needed, as the back bolt can only be moved this much at a time.

Cheers,

Mike
