Autotrader Used Car Awards

Just seen it.

Absolutely fantastic!

I almost wept with joy - if it wasn't for our dinner party guests in the living room at the same time I would have cried like a baby.........

Well done A2.

Shame about the corporate twit from Audi.......... we should have collected that.
 
How about a campaign to get the award off Audi, given it was our votes and Mikes car that got the A2 into the final shootout..

Not watched yet, but will check the program out later!
 
I think we should get the award from them, audi didn't take there car it was Mikes so we should get it.
 
Yes we should have the award. If audi backed the a2 as much as we have it would have won many more awards. Id quick like to see them put the A2 back in production with the only engine option being the TDi 90.

LOL cant believe they had the cheek to collect it the rover 75s award was picked up by the chairman of the 75 owners club
 
All the other awards were collected by the respective manufacturers, but as Rover now no longer exist, the owners club collected the award - that's my theory anyway.

I will write to Audi this week to express our interest on the matter.

OK chaps and chapesses, the dvd of the Autotrader Used Car Awards 2007 is now available.

Although it is an off-air recording, it is excellent quality and has been edited to remove adverts. I've also included the Tokyo Motorshow 2007 as a supporting featurette. It doesn't include footage of the Metroproject Quattro, but has plenty of other interesting concepts and is worth a look.

Cost is £5 per dvd and of that, £3 goes to A2OC club funds, the other £2 paying for duplication, post and packaging.

Can somebody please explain to me how the RS focus ended up being used car of the year? when did any of you last see one?

I've justed enjoyed watching the DVD very much. It is excellent quality and whilst it was good to have most adverts removed, it was nice to see the Audi ads remain (perhaps they came from somewhere else). Those LEDs looked great on your vehicle.

I'm pleased you also included the Tokyo Motorshow 2007, after the A2 slot, that was a most interesting viewing with all the concept cars.

Thanks again for taking the time to provide this DVD to club members and for donating the the surplus costs to the club.

Glad you enjoyed the show.

Yes, the ads were sourced from elsewhere. When I'd cutout the normal ads, it seemed a little strange on viewing - you went straight from a break bumper to another one - so I put in a select advert from the Audi catalogue.

If anyone else would like a copy, let me know.

I will bring a few to the Curry Social next week.
