Hi,
My girlfriend owns an A2, we love the car, we have a few problems and faults which you live with but this one is a pain.
The battery discharges overnight, (even a new battery will discharge within a few days) and the remote key fobs don't work.
Is the battery discharge due to the convenience unit not shutting the car down properly, after locking the car manually the alarm light flashes as if the alarm is armed.
There is also a rattle in the boot lid, if you open the boot and move it up and down there is a slight rattle, could this be a broken sensor or something.
When the car is running, none of the door warning lights come on.
Any ideas much appreciated, don't want to spend a fortune.
