BMW i8

Ahhh :D Erm, no. He's Ross Lovegrove, a good friend and colleague of mine. Ross he's one of the most established industrial designers in UK and he introduced me to Audi A2's years ago....

He actually has his A2 INSIDE his studio. Quite an amazing view.

WOW! Looks like the perfect job!

Imagine going to work and looking at a A2 all day! I did think designers had a soft spot for the A2. :)

You're right Paul... Being an Architect/ Product designer myself the A2 is the only car that really makes sense. The technology, the design, the efficiency....simply timeless. Go figure, Ross has designed a concept car for Renault last year and I often work with Ferrari, but we both drive Audi A2

Another architect here too who is an A2 design fan. As for the i8 and whilst it is a quite stunning piece of engineering and technology it doesn't have the design purity of an A2 or come to that most Audi's. I have seen a couple on the road when in Germany last summer. However the TG test shows the real world of hybrid and EV economy, I am with emmett on this technology. Until such time I can drive to Cologne from Huddersfield without a refill or tow my 1.5tonne caravan to Calais without needing fuel that can be replenished in 5 mins then electric propulsion is an irrelevance, whatever the politicians and yoghurt knitters would try to have us drive. In theory I agree that electric propulsion is the way forward but the energy source needs an awful lot of work and I am still to be convinced hydrogen is the answer. Electric car sales reached 20,000 last year all of which get a thumping subsidy at purchase which is usually by company fleets or otherwise relatively wealthy individuals and access to free fuel at charging points, paid for by everyone else - often who can ill afford any car let alone subsidise those financially well placed to pay for it themselves - and then politicians talk about those in fuel poverty. The 'Fuel' is usually generated by allegedly 'dirty' planet warming coal or gas..... you couldn't make it up! Rant over......

That confirms that A2 really is the coolest car on the road!

Is the A2 in the Studio a permanent fixture? Or is it used?
