Brakes

All fitted yesterday :)

The retaining screw on the discs wasn't actually too hard to remove - the last time I changed discs on a previous car I had to drill it out so was quite suprised!!

Only driven a few miles since fitting, but the bite on the new discs and pads is much greater than on the standard setup and they're not even bedded in yet. For the money I'd recommend this setup to anyone needing a change of discs and pads - afterall, it cost me less for uprated discs and pads than it would have done for stanard stuff..

Ok, well i've finally gone and ordered the bits, i'll be picking them up tomorrow morning and should hopefully be getting a mate mechanic to fit them on saturday morning. I think i'll stick around whilst he's doing it though as I can only learn something new. It's about time I had the brake fluid changed too, so having a brake overhaul like this should make quite a good difference! :D
