Well, after 5 years of being a loyal customer, 'brocoli' :) has finally made us look else where for our groceries.

Tesco's finest range is superb (you do get what you pay for), and you cant complain about the 15p Lemonade, however when you have to pay £1 for two heads of brocoli, something is wrong.

We're going to try Asda next weekend. I just hope Tesco's ceo, John Browett buys an A2, reads this thread and readjusts the price of brocoli without delay.

Being the keeper of a house bunny, prices of green veg is important. Brocoli is a treat as it does cost more than a cabbage or some greens. But think of the clubcard points [24]

Good luck in Asda-it does attract a different class of people you know Kaine. I expect to see your A2 up for sale and a Ford Escort on the drive ;)

Kaine, Asda does attract a different class of person, I go there! I do not find Tesco an enjoyable shopping experience, and Tesco dings on all the local cars are a sure sign of peoples shopping habits. Whilst no shopping is enjoyable, Asda is less hassle, BUT the bakery at Tilbury is a disaster and the Head Office customer services don't even bother to reply (several times). Yep, that's right it's been Tescos recently, for a while anyway.
