I agree the C3 is a very pleasant looking car (especially in pale metallic blue), however I feel it’s a bit unfair to compare directly with an A2 especially when the money for a good spec A2 would purchase “two” C3’s.
Having previously owned two new Citroen’s (BX16TRS & BX19GTI) their feel of quality and solidity was very poor in comparison to any Audi, but that said if my A2 had been as trouble free as either of my past Citroens then I would be driving an Audi today. From my experiences the gearbox, clutch, accelerator, and willing engines from Citroen walked circles around that which existed on my A2. The only problem with those French things is that they are like tin cans, however I have noted that the press have raved over the security features and standards of the C3. Finally I would have to say that I reckon few cars depreciate as fast as a Citroen.
