Cambelt Change

Looking at getting my local garage to do this change and the guy reckons he can do it. Mentioned to him about needing a special tool at some point in the change but he still thinks he can do it with the tools he has. The guy is a friend and the jobs he does are spot on. Should I risk it? not sure on a price yet as he's finding out prices. How much does a genuine audi cambelt kit cost?

i just paid 270 to a good local garage to fit the cambelt kit, i'm told the kit alone is around 150.
if he's a good mechanic? go for it.
