Car mats question ?

Ohh I only got the car on sunday and this is my 3rd new thread

Anyway I was wondering about the car mats, are the mats classed as the carpet thats attached to the floor (on top of the hidden compartments) or do the mats that audi sell go ontop of this carpet ?

I was going to buy some audi mats of ebay but they looked just like the carpet/mat that is already in the car with the plastic clips that click on the the floor.

the mats go ontop of the carpet clipping to 2 plastic retension lugs, I just bought a set off ebay from price1958cars http://feedback.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayI...=8051354472&frm=1883&ssPageName=STRK:MEWN:SID I paid £14.99 plus postage for them, they do fit and the rears now come with the lugs on (he used my set to establish where they should be), quality isn't up with the stealers version but there again neither is the price, for what I paid I'm happy.

I think the stealers charge about £40 for carpet mats - which seems ok to me. Am I wrong?

We've just bought a pair of rubber front mats from the stealer for £27+vat. They are very substantial - if a bit utilitarian!

You were pretty close with the price. Browsing throuth the Audi Accessory brochure attached shows the mats are £41 (this is only for the front pair)
