Chevrolet Bolt EV - looks familar

Eer, does anyone else spot the striking resemblance between the newly announced Chevrolet Bolt - a new, small "city" car which is a pure battery electric, and the stillborn battery electric Mk2 Audi A2?
Not just the exterior, but the interior too?

One caveat. The Audi A2. I love it i love it i love it. Did I ever tell ye?

It's so similar it's ridiculous, especially the interior.
I also rather like the look of it.
Having driven the i3 last week (what a machine!) I definitely am keen on a next gen electric car.

No Dan you're quite right about the interior. I'm not quite seeing the exterior similarities but i suppose every aerodynamic supermini may resemble the A2 project styling. A pukka new A2 would be great. Especially if it could pay homage to the original the way the 1st generation mini or beetle did.

Stumbling block is that the A2 wasn't the marketing success of those 2 cars so paying such homage probably low on the priority list.
