IH I am new to the forum and the big question is to chip ore not to chip?

I have just purchased a 2003 A2 1600 FSI sport with 52000. I have noticed that unless you keep the revs up it a bit sluggish but if you drive it hard it goes well and easily hold’s its own on the road. I live in the west Sussex airier and if I was to go down the chip root can anyone recommend any one who is good
James  thanks for the input

I think the FSi is unchipable, sure i've seen it posted on here somewhere, something like its a sealed ecu or its just unable to be chipped. i do no that the FSi should only be run on the high octane fuel V+ etc....

Ben had his FSi chipped by Stealth. It was the first one they tried and was not too successful so the car was returned to standard. Could ask if they have improved the mapping now but its around £250 for an extra 10 bhp

Cheers Spike

Hi Team

we not looking good then look’s like I just have to get use to the car and change my driving stile many thanks

Use premium unleaded, eg Tesco Momentum, the FSi really benefits from the extra octane.
