Club plates order

Hi everyone

Since I've just bought another A2, I ordered a set of plate holders on 27th. I know it says wait 14 days but I'm too eager to get them on!

Is it possible to confirm when I'll receive them?

It is my understanding that the last of the 100 pairs were recently sold. It took 2 years but the amazing members of this great club got there.

I know that Teresa was in the process of obtaining more from the manufacturer in Germany. Teresa is certainly the authority on this and may well give you a detailed update some point this evening or over the weekend.

Thank you Tom - yes I am just waiting for the manufacturers to let me have a timescale and will update you as soon as I hear from them.

If you are really keen to get them on, I can take mine off Mabel now that she is overwintering, let you have them and then swap for a new set when I get the new ones in?

Teresa, no problem at all. I would never want to de-badge Mabel on her winter break!

I will send out as soon as I recieve them, but if you do want to cancel your order and be refunded, please do send me a private message and I will arrange.

Now off to work out how to do and overseas bank transfer!

I think you'll need something called an IBAN (International Bank Account Number) from memory, then it's easy, just like a regular transaction :)

Thank you - yes they have given me that..its working out how to do the transfer from my account that I'm no t sure about as everything is online. I'll work it out hopefully ?

Once you’ve logged into your bank account to do said payment you will need to ensure that you click on an international transfer and you will be presented with an additional field to fill I. Which will be the IBAN.

Er Hi everyone, I have just bought a 2004 A2 and think they are a great and vastly under appreciated small car.
I am intrigued to know what these transferable plates actually are? Is there a pic?
 
Evening Charles,

These are high quality number plate surrounds with club branding - logo and nameplate. An example of one fitted to the rear of my own A2.

Got home to a "we tried to deliver" note tonight.
Hoping that I'll be able to pick them up saturday morning before I head off to the Birmingham social (am at work until then). Will try to get the ones waiting, out and up to the post office before I go too ?

Yes of course. They are number plate surrounds, so you put your plates in them. They are very easy to fit.
If you look along the menu at the top and then click on "stuff", you will see the merchandise shop where you can order them.
There is also a close up picture, expertly displayed on my dining room table ?
Please give me a shout if you have any problems

Hi there just like to say the plate holder’s look great, can I ask how much is it for a pair as I think they would look great on my A2. Thanks Billy
