J JPA Member 21 Jul 2009 #1 I have a 1.4 TDI, 68k miles on the clock and this morning the coil light started flashing, does anyone have any idea what it could be? Do i need to get new glow plugs or is the engine about to explode?

S spike Well-Known Member 21 Jul 2009 #2 Neither The flashing lamp just gives a general warning so it could be many things. Most common fault seems to be the brake light switch or blown bulbs - see link for more info - http://www.a2oc.net/forum/showthread.php?t=7166&highlight=glowplug+light Cheers Spike
