What happens if you over fill the header tank will this do any damage?? the reason i ask is that my missus bumped the car. During repair they drained the system and did not put enough coolant back in so when I picked the car up the coolant warning came on.
I called them and the sent Wallace and Gromit out the next morning (Christmas Eve) They claimed that there was an existing leak and just poured a litre of coolant in which took the level to well over max and told me it would find it's own level. When they had left I went for a drive when I returned home and stopped there was steam coming out of the radiator.
Is this right???
They have taken the car away again just don't want them blaming the problem on a pre-existing issue if over filling can damage the system.
Also when the car first went in after the bump the airbag light and engine management light were on. They told me these lights were cleared by the local Audi dealership do Audi not supply a certificate for any work carried out on airbags?? VW did. Cos this has not been supplied. Help
