Hi everyone,
I've just done a coolant flush and renewal.
Problem is that the Climate Control is just piping out freezing cold air. The hotter I set it, the faster the cold air comes blasting out. Engine is hot when this happens.
Reservoir only took less than 3 litres and I thought it was meant to take about 6 litres? Maybe there is some other way to fill the radiator (ie. Not through the main reservoir)?
Any idea anyone??
UPDATE: I realised after posting that i needed to open radiator coolant hose bleeder screw and fill reservoir 'til coolant came out. Done this and run engine 'til hot but still getting cold air on high heat setting.
ELSA says that same needs to be done on coolant hose bleeder screw for heat exchanger (if fitted). I have climate control with the econ setting so I think I have a heat exchanger. Can't find the bleeder screw though and ELSA diagram is so close up it's difficult to see where it's meant to be.
