It looks the same as the Gendan one, but looks aren't anything to go by.
If I were you, I'd get the proper Gendan one:

It works out at £10 more, but is guaranteed to work and they're in this country if you need to return it. Gendan are the company I got my full VagCom interface from and their service was brilliant.
You could give them a call first to see if the interface is what you need.
