Wonder if anyone has any ideas about this:
I came back to my car and unlocked it using the button on the keyfob as usual, mechanism seemed to click as usual, but the drivers door was still locked. I tried clicking the button on the fob off and on a few times, but each time the door wouldn't unlock.
At first I thought the battery in the fob was dead, but when I tried the key manually the door still wouldn't unlock!
By this stage I was beginning to think the whole thing was jammed shut, but when I tried the rear door, the rear door opened. In fact, all the doors except the drivers door opened as normal.
I even reached in and tried opening the door from the inside, but it was still locked.
So I got in the passenger side and scooched across and off I went, but when the car was moving I tried the door again and this time it opened!
Bit confused by all this! Did turning the ignition on do something to unlock the door? Is it as sign that something is about to break?
Any ideas?
