As its been such a wonderful day, we've been out and about around the Kent countryside in the A2 with the roof wide open and the wind in our hair - well sort of, you get the picture.
Anyway, we ended up at Eagle Heights ( http://www.eagleheights.co.uk/ )and I have to say what a great time we had there. They put on displays at various times throughout the day and to see a huge Bald Eagle fly out across the valley then catch a thermal and soar into the sky is a sight to behold. Even more impressive is to see it glide about 2ft over our heads and pluck a fish out of a pond in front of us.
They have many birds there and today we saw - as well as the bald eagle - harris hawks, a griffon vulture, and numerous other birds all flying free and looking magnificent.
Well worth a visit if you've got a free afternoon.
