2 days ago whilst driving along I got the flashing glowplug on the dash. It lasted for about 8 miles and then extinguished so I thought I'd plug the laptop in (VCDS-Lite Shareware) and run a scan. There was only one fault code to be found which was:
19463 - Camshaft Position Sensor (G40) : No Signal
P3007 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent
Because I only have the shareware version it doesn't give me the date and time of the code being logged so I've cleared the fault and will monitor on an ongoing basis until it reoccurs. Does anyone have any advice as to whether this is well known, critical or otherwise? I don't see too much info on that fault by searching the forums so I'm guessing it's not too common.
The car seems to be running OK.
Cheers,
Iain
